I would recommend a link to your channel so that your potential "collaborators" may have a look at what kind of stuff you do.

Old can be good too. So long as the game is appealing. I missed a lot of games growing up since it's only now I can afford them. So I have a huuuuge backlog d:
If you're interested just add me on steam.

Hey there, do you have any 'minimum requirements' in mind for what you're looking for? As in subscriber or video count, or general experience? I ask because I have a small youtube channel with a few videos up, and I've always wanted to do some more, but I don't feel like I can entertain without someone else to talk to... and I don't have any friends. (In part because I have some pretty severe anxiety too.) :P
Plus, I've only ever recorded in person, and I barely have any experience with editing. So, I can't do more videos without experience, and I can't get experience without doing more videos. I'm not sure how to break the cycle.

That's all the requirements I have, aside from obvious ones like have a clear mic. It's also good to have Skype if you don't like using Steam for voice calls. I checked out your videos and I think we'd be fine so if you're interested meet me on Steam with a copy of Viscera Cleanup Detail. Make sure you aren't followed.

Cool, thanks for getting back to me.
Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of Viscera, so I want make sure it would run adequately on my machine before I drop 12 bucks on it (kind of strapped for cash atm). I have to go out today, but when I get back I'll install and run the Santa's rampage spinoff (which I have from a bundle some time ago) so I can get a general feel for it.
As for your other requirements, I've got a Snowball mic so no worries there. I've used skype before, but not often. Whichever voice chat you want to use should be fine though. I'll get back to you tomorrow.
And rest assured any suspicious characters will be dealt with... harshly.

I'm after improving my channel. Always. And since I pretty much have the editing and recording stuff covered, I'm hoping to work on the weakest link by far -- me and my stupid anxiety issues. So I'm looking for easygoing co-op partners to regular (or 'semi' regular) with in various co-op games (like Viscera Cleanup, Battleblock, SpeedRunners, Insurgency, etc.) who also have a good sense of humour to help me ease up and relax. Wit is a very big bonus as when I'm at my best it comes very naturally. Showmanship and patience are also great. You can be an asshole if you have those other things (the amount of times my VCD cleanup %100 attempts are foiled by a jerk setting off an explosive...at least it makes a fun video.)
(Yes, if you have a channel you'll be credited, linked to and mentioned in the title.)
In addition, I'm finding my lack of knowledge in popular trends vs my personal taste in games is also holding me back. For example, I LOVE Shadow Warrior. The videos obviously don't get many views even though i think I do fairly well. I post a Doom Beta video, a really bad performance on my part too, and it immediately gets views. So the natural conclusion is I need to start learning what's currently being searched for. I tend to get to games a tad too late. So if anyone who is keen on the previous paragraph is also interested in giving me regular advice I'd really appreciate it -- even if it's just a message on steam saying hey check this game out it's gonna get big. This is particularly the case with indie games as I can usually guess with AAAs. Again, channel credit and such is a given. It looks more professional when you get a bunch of relevant links in the description.
Much appreciation.

I put it on Gleam this time as an experiment. Simply don't get enough people from regular Steamtrades.
