Your Favorite Category on Steam ?

u have a favorite category?!?

I don't use that feature tbh, i've all my games sorted in different categories after their main genre like RTS, FPS, RPG etc.

I don't have my games sorted at all and if I did, I would not make use of a favorite category. Like PE99, I would sort them on genre.

does "Installed" count as a category?

I don't have an explicit category for it but rather have playing/want to play/finished/100%/crap.

I tried organising my categories by genre once. It turns out there just isn't an easy way to move games around and to change category names. I gave up and now just use the search bar when I want to find a game.

I also have a trash category. For those special pieces of crap you pick up in bundles, like Dungeon Defenders.

My favorite "Category" is Valve. lol My categories are divided by publishers/developers.

My categories are devided by genre..

most of the time Im playing games from my Action Sandbox category (Grand Theft Auto Serie, Bully, Sleeping Dogs, Mafia 2, Just Cause Serie, LA Noire, Red Faction Serie, Saints Row The Third)

or from my Indie Games Tier GOLD category ( I have 3 categories for indie games, GOLD = best games): (Thomas Was Alone, Bastion, Castle Crashers, Chivarly, FTL, Toki Tori, Trine & few more :])

At the minute... AC Brotherhood & Revelations, Borderlands, Company of Heroes, DiRT3, Skyrim, JC2, Civ V, TF2.

Bear in mind though, that list hasn't been updated recently by me. I don't see the point in a 'favourites' category that has loads of games in, so I try and keep it below ~7 or 8 games that are my all time favourites. Thinking that DiRT 3 and Brotherhood need dropping from there now that I've recently added BL and Civ V (just got these 2 and they are set to be up there as some of the best games I've played, certainly better than DiRT 3 and Brotherhood

I don't do that, I just have games I bought and games I somehow got for free
