Games that are not released to coincide with a movie tend to fare a lot better than the average rushed games that we get. Though despite Kick-Ass 2 falling under this category, it still seem to be crap...

The collector in me strikes when I see a bundle with negative reviews... :X Especially when it comes to those simulator games.

I mean I bought two IG bundles 40 times and one DIG bundle 22 times. :)
Oh, for the other one: I only have games on my profile I want to play at least within this year. I aim to have 97% completion (not achievements, just games played from start to finish) by next January. I really buy 99% of the bundles to just give away. :)

Aaah, I see ^^ Crazy! But interesting. :) So, you do have games you want yourself but you cannot promise yourself to finish it before the year is over, so you save those keys for later or is everything going to giveaways?

I have currently 90 keys for games I know I may play at some point. They range from certainly getting around it (for example, Artifex Mundi HOGs), some are most likely (Xenonauts is a good example that comes to my mind, or Tales from the Borderlands), and some that are in the "eh, I don't give this away yet" group (like Tomb Raider (2013)).
As for my current directory, those are stuff I want to play in a short while, yes. It's just a question of mood which type I want. (And also a question of when I get my new rig as some of the games on my current backlog cannot really run on my old one.)

Many people on here are addicts to some degree in one way or another. As long as it doesn't cause one to miss out on other things that they later regret or it's not allowed to detract from one's quality of life, then it is all good.
I don't find myself buying from stores all that much anymore either due to bundles. A backlog also tends to reduce the incentive or impulse for shopping as well.

Well, I used to buy a lot of games from steam store or other retail sites. But especially the past half year I barely did at all, and I moved it to nearly only bundles. It's progress at least. And yep, same. The backlog (and lack of proper income) is holding me back as well.
