Not confirming gifts...

It's been an hour. They have 7 days to confirm it.

Just wait a bit longer and he most likely will confirm. If you don't hear anything after a day or two, you can send a little reminder or add to steam to ask if he got the key. Sometimes emails get lost. Plus, there are technically seven days to send the key and to confirm the key.

Add him to steam tell him how to click received gift if its his first time in steam

And maybe he didn't get the mail or something , its always better to chat with the winner and to give him cd-key "face to face" :)

Not everyone has to do things as soon as they happen, it's only been one hour. Chill a bit and if in 7days doesn't mark, open a ticket.

One hour? The user who won my first gift needed two weeks before he reacted, and then he pressed the 'not received' button because he couldn't remember the email address he used here on Steamgifts and thought I didn't send the key. Had to add him on Steam to explain what he did wrong. Well, at least he apologized.

He could be entering giveaways with his phone, don't know if the steamgifts app even lets you mark received...

It can be worrying if a few days pass and still they didn't mark your gift received... Did I send the wrong key? Sent to wrong email? etc.

But if it's just an hour, relax... :) Life's too short to worry about stuff like this... :)

It's all alright, the guy received the gift, he's new here, and probably didn't know how the stuff works, I've told him what to do...

I am not sure if I understand you correctly, at least it doesn't make much sense to me, buuut... are you saying that that guy is a key? He is a key to what?
