Steam Winter Sale - Do you think Steam Wallet will be an issue?

I remember hearing reports during the past summer sale that some users were unable to use the funds from their Steam Wallet to complete their purchase and Steam support being the opposite of quick during the sale (understandable, but still sucks). I'll be getting Wallet cards for the 'ol tree holiday.

I'm not sure if it's just Steam Wallet, but some games are unpurchasable during sales due to high traffic.
I remember I was unable to get Killing Floor while it was the daily/flash deal.
