Region Locked Games?

People whose Steam Account is out of that region (or from excluded countries) won't be able to redeem said codes/receive those games via Steam's native gift system.

While it's not obligatory to create your giveaways region locked, it is adviced to prevent potential headaches on your part.

Well as much i know its locked for country like example u cant play region locked game if its for germany.
Yes u have to set which country its region restricked or at least say in giveaway description that some country its reg-locked :) hope i was from some help..

Now, I've got a question that this thread raised for me.

When creating a giveaway, it asks about region locking. My question is, do you select the regions the key can be REDEEMED in, or do you select regions that the key is NON-REDEEMABLE in? I have seen a few giveaways for Tales of Berseria that had differing region lock settings. The GA I created I just added Japan for the region lock as that was the only country it was locked in. Another GA listed tens of countries in the region lock, and now I'm super confused. (I lucked out and I didn't have a Japanese winner. Sorry again Kappaking)
