If you think it really works, search there China prices. Also tell me Argentina prices. Zimbabwe?

Steam prices/currencies are set by regions, not by individual countries.
But no, I have no idea what regions these two are pooled at. If that's the kind of information you're looking for, you should've been more specific at your original post.

Sorry, but no. Argentina and Brazil = South America but different prices.
Russia and Ukrania both CIS countries and different prices

Do you still remember Steam prices before they changed the currency to Reais? Well, I do for some games. And guess what, many of our old prices match that of the argentinian store (I checked the ones that were overpriced in particular, like the EA games).
But then they changed the currency and prices for the BR store and now we are listed on websites such as Steamprices as a separate region.
So again, yes, it's by region.
(As for your edit, check Steamprices & co again, Russia and Ukraine are also listed as separate regions...)
Last edit: before you even say it, Germany is part of the Euro region (I can never tell if EU1 or EU2), and yet it's treated separately from Steam's EU1 and EU2 stores. Again, this exception is also listed in Steamprices.

Yes, I remember some games had different prices even in $. Like Alice Madness Returns, it was $49.99 before region prices, you still wrong =/
Also I never said Russia and Ukraine weren't listed, you said steam price are set by regions, no countries and I proved you were wrong.

You can compare prices using IsThereAnyDeal.com. In the top left corner there is a region changer and if you click an individual game, you can compare prices for the different regions. You can also look at games that are not on sale by searching for them, then clicking: "Try searching for non-deal games, check when they were on sale or add them to your Waitlist.".
You can also try SteamPrices, they let you switch regions.

Different prices between the games? Where do you live?

Yes, I know this thread is pointless but I would like to know how are steam prices in your region.
I know that AUS prices are usually the highest. To be more easy to comparate I'll choose 2 games.
Star Trek - $42.5 Brazil
Metro: Last Light - $42.5 Brazil
Guys, if you don't want to participate in discussion do not post shit, please.
I'm not looking for steamprices or anything that compare prices automatically...
