No. Creating a gift link just makes a key appear in the giftee's HB account instead of just giving a key.

No it means if you activate a key for a package you WILL NOT receive games you already own as giftable copies in your steam inventory.

Nor for single games you already own.

But you can give away the keys to someone who doesn't own the single games, unlike games in packages.
