It's actually done on purpose. The scammer took the profile number from the real account and used it as a custom ID.

You could always go to his SG profile and then the Steam profile from there.

I've been impersonated more than once, and had to explain to the people getting screwed that they dealt with an impersonator, but I have a good trading reputation so I can see the point in trying to profit from that. I'm not sure why a scammer decided to impersonate you since you don't seem to be trading at all, unless you do it somewhere else and simply do not have rep here on SG.

I don't trade here or anywhere really. And I'm not that active at steamgifts. Not part of many groups and hardly an online gamer except with friends. So how they found me? Clueless. :P

Just so you know, it says SR Scammer on his profile (for Enhanced Steam users). So you have that part on your side, which is nice :3 Also, half of his info is his, and the other half is your info. Like, for example, he has his own group in his info, while for 'his' SteamRep, he has the link to yours.

It's basically an app for your browser that gives you much more info to the steam site. It's easier to find things on sale that are on your wishlist, when you go to a person's profile it will give you links to more accounts connected with steam, and much more. Here
