Hello. I have a question is the giveaways happening randomly? I mean do they choose winners randomly? Because I been here for long time and last game I won was in 2 years ago.

Levelling up = doing giveawys yourself
Getting on whitelists = be a generally nice guy and show it with forum activity
Solving puzzles = browse the puzzles part of the forum, solve them

How to get games (guide made by wardenasd)

Step 1. Enter groups on steam that announce free games or check discussions on sg forum on the Deals section
Step 2. Farm them for cards using idle master or other idling program
Step 3. Go to SG trade section and trade the cards for steam keys

then you can make some giveaways , level up and also win some games

It's completely random, yes. If you give away some games and increase your level you will get access to more giveaways, that still won't guarantee you'll get more wins though, only more chances.

You could also lurk the forum for invite-only gibs, those generally have less entries than public ones.

In fully open giveaways (level 0 public), 1:1000 is a rather good luck, slightly above average. So your win amount is normal.
