Congrats on the offer! And thanks for the puzzle. Not sure how far I will get but much appreciated :)

If you're in Firefox, you can put all the images in a single window with no other tabs, and just hold down Ctrl-Tab (might need TMP installed?). It's way faster than opening up a graphics program like Gimp, pasting them all, setting the blend mode....
The effect very much reminded me of the game Lost in the Static. (I love that there is a page of screenshots, haha)

I was expecting an answer from my job application, aand they said yes. I declare happy times! All who are not having fun should be rounded up and shot!
There may or may not be a giveaway for this occassion. If there were, it'll probably be something like $30.01 contrib. But probably there isn't. I mean, I just got the offer. Who am I, the queen?
.
Edit: Thank you all for your wishes. I had a few job offers already, but the one I was most interested in accepted. I hope I won't regret this decision :)
Solution: There were images hidden in the source. It was pretty easy to guess, you could've overlaid the images using multiply or difference blending mode in any GFX program. Or, like many other people, you could just flip back and forth :)
