Can you recommend me series to watch?

Glancing through the suggestions I'd second Luther, very good Idris Elba role.
Any other actor in the role probably would have been cancelled on season 1.

I haven't seen Lucifer, but looks interesting with likable characters.

White Collar. It's only 4 seasons. It's got the detective aspect you like. Final season is a bit bland, but the first 3 are great.

Violet Evergarden as ppl recommend it if you watched Kimi no Na wa.

The Handmaid's Tale all day every day if you want for a powerful series.
The Office if you want to have a good laugh

Not sure if this would be to your liking at all, but I found myself really enjoying the first episode of Westworld (started watching yesterday).
