JJ S3 is the last Disney owned thing released on Netflix. None of those shows will ever be renewed. At least not on Netflix.

Disney had nothing to do with the cancelations. It was Netflix decision and it would make no sense for Netflix to make a contract where Disney can just come in and pull the plug on their shows.
They are canceled because people just lost interest. I really liked Daredevil and Punisher but both shows had way to many slow moments. Season 2 of Jessica Jones was a huge disappointment. And nobobt really cared that much about the other two.
Anyway, i am not saying this just to defend Disney, don't give a shit about them.

Do most people keep active subscriptions? I just pay one month and cycle through different services.

I haven't paid for netflix in like 5 months.
The rest charge less, but at least for me i had more content there, then again, there's no reason to pay for it every month.
I had HBO for 2 months and im going cancel it.

The only good thing about these services is if you wait a while, you pay for 1 month and binge all the shows. So it's more like $7 a year

True. And I mean... even if you need 2 months to cover it, it's not scandalous either.
Still, if every media group starts its own, it's going to add up to quite a lot to see stuff you like... and then they wonder why people are pirating content...

Thing is it differs from country to country. In my country there isn't any streaming service worth paying for all good shows are exclusive to different subscriptions, I already set sail long ago.

At the end of the year, Disney is going to be rolling out their own subscription based streaming service similar to Netflix. It is called Disney+ and will cost $7 a month initially.
Here's a video going over all the details you need to know.
It looks absolutely insane. Truck loads of Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, Fox, and National Geographic content all in one place and at one low cost.
Disney is coming Netflix, better watch your back.
