Does streaming movies that contain pop-ads pose risk to my computer.?

Unfortunately you can't use ad-block on them,so my only option is click all the ads till the movie starts.

What sites are you using that your getting popups? I never get any when streaming movies, and I use plenty of less than honorable sites for that. I mean some try, but adblock blocks them

They have a feature that does not allow the user to view the movies unless he has the adblock off.

That's reason enough to steer clear of them, in my opinion.
If they had "good" ads, they wouldn't need to do such a thing.

sounds like novamov, fuck em, theres better hosts. use a site like movie4k to where it aggregates all the different hosts for each title.

Adblock is crap ever since it's been bought by an ad company, as is Adblock Plus.
Better use uBlock Origin (not uBlock, that one is also owned by an ad company).
It also has an "anti-adblock killer" feature.

I'll warn you that the UI is not one of the most intuitive ones, I still prefer Adblock's over that.
Apart from that, uBlock Origin is much more powerful and lightweight.

already swapped. adblock started showing too many crap ads on some of the national sites i read (local news and such)

so anything is better
