i won a game locked in my region

As title sais i won a game that when i try to activate the key it says that the article is not available to purcharse in my country. But if i chek the store the game is available to purcharse in my region, so i supose this is due to the new crossregion restriction. But the game is a key not a gift, so i dont know.

So, what should i do? I think i should contact the winner but i don't know how to say that. I dont want to seem impolite. And he/she seems a generous person that giveaway a game, and now he has a problem for that. I dont know if you understand what im trying to say.

Anyway, how shoud i contact him/her? and if he/she cant solve the restriction problem, what should i do?

It doesn't matter if you have this game available on your store or not, restricted keys have nothing to do with that, and they have nothing to do with new crossregion restriction, and if you won a region restricted game, you should mark it as unreceived, sadly. But first contact the GA creator, so maybe he provides you a region free game.

You should contact the winner about the problem, that's not being impolite, it's saying there's a problem on redeeming since it's region locked. So he/she can try to fix the problem either by giving you a ROW key or spending wallet to buy you a ROW gift of it :V

The only way to handle this is to contact the giveaway creator and tell them that the key is region restricted. If the giveaway creator refuses to get you a working key, wait seven days and mark as not received.
