Why SG does not return points if giveaway was deleted?

Hey there!

I have noticed that many times if I joined a giveaway and it got deleted, then points are not returned aka "refunded".
Is it a bug or not implemented?
For comparison, gameminer returns points for fake/deleted giveaways.

Why does it matter? They replenish for free anyway.

i dont think it's a real problem, the points are generated from finished giveaways not like gameminer form a countdown , so on sg points replenish really faster than GM, actually douring great bundle periods it's hard to use them all that they are back to 300

well, when you choose e.g 15 pt GA over a 20 one... and end up not having those 15 pts... then it is a big deal - chance is lost :D

Gotta love that the question itself was never answered.
It was not implemented, AFAIK.

Yeah, I remember when a mod deleted GAs the points would be refunded, allowing some people to have more than 300 P at one time.

This issue was introduced with SG v2 (early this year?) but has yet to be fixed. The previous version did refund points for deleted giveaways.
