If you see it being given away individually it's probably a key from Indie Gala V.

Well, after seeing the hungarian Fortix 2 on the gala2 I probably know how you feel. Never had a 'complete' history with this game though, but I played the demos for both Beyond Enemy Lines and that [Something] Call of Duty. I could never finish them... but I definitely liked it more than Army Men!

It's funny how so many people seem to be interested in Company of Heroes and so little in Commandos. It's a bit like if you loved Torchlight but refused to check out Diablo I.
I grew up with this game so I might not be entirely objective, but I'd say give it a try, the graphics won't dazzle you but the gameplay is solid. Difficulty is well balanced and you'll love getting your ass kicked.

many people have problems "retrograding" gaming habits for older titles. Try to make someone who only played Diablo 2 / Darkstone / Titan Quest try Diablo I, the game would feel so restrictive to him he may not like it.

Commandos is a different style of game from Company of Heroes though. It'd be more like asking why you haven't played Operation Flashpoint if you liked Silent Storm.
Company of Heroes is your standard RTS, while Commandos is more of an isometric stealth puzzler. The only similarities are being based in WW2.

Yeah, I actually wanted to say it wasn't the same. Didn't want to think of an argument though :p.

I think we can agree that it's "close enough" for the point I was trying to make.
Regardless, I'm not saying people should LIKE it, I'm saying they should give it a chance. I see all those comments in the Indie Gala thread like "this bundle sucks" and I can't help but feel people are missing out on a great franchise.

It is quite possible many who say that already own the games they want from the bundle hence it "sucks" for them. A discussion about this is going on on the bundle forum on Steam.

Commandos is freaking hard and I love hard games! Sneak past nazi soldiers undetected, silent kill everyone and hide the body! I hate it when the nazi raises alarm and then it's all goes "Hait, ALARM, ALARM!".

I see the serie Commandos in Steamgifts as giveaways and I'm remembering when the first game was sold. In Spain there were two great developer companies in that time: Dinamic Multimedia (PC Futbol Series) and Pyro Studio.
From Wikipedia: Commandos is a stealth-oriented real-time tactics game series, available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The game is set in the Second World War and follows the escapades of a fictional British Commandos section. It leans heavily (though not always accurately) on historical events during WWII to carry the plot. The series was developed by the Spanish company Pyro Studios and published by Eidos Interactive.
