Anime: My favorite of all time uhh... kinda hard question, i have just too many favorite animes. I'll say the best I watched so far is Steins;gate.
Manga: I fall in love with Assassination Classroom. It's really a beatiful manga. Im also reading Twin Star Exorcist now since the anime is crap.
Visual novel: Tbh I still didnt finished a single one, I remember I started years ago Umineko (it was that the name? I dont really remember it all because it's passed a lot of time...)
JRPG: Eeeeh, maybe Disgaea? But I didnt finished still... my backlog is too big... ;_;"

anime: Revolutionary Girl Utena, Cowboy Bebop, Boogiepop, psychological stuff, Studio Ghibli, etc. Also, I neglected to mention my favorite - Gundam series.
manga: Same as above, Some clamp stories are pretty well done in manga form. I also really like the Akira manga.
visual novels: Danganronpa series, Zero Escape series, Higurashi series
jrpg: Way too many to list. Xenogears was my favorite as a child.

I don't really like manga/anime just because they're japanese. I enjoy comics and cartoons but only if I like the story and characters, not because they're made here or there.

• Manga: I actually don't read Mangas because I'm feeling kind of out of place using the public transport and reading that stuff being 28 years old. :( no one sees what I'm doing at home, so that's why I'm still playing visual novels and watching anime
• Visual Novels: Hatoful Boyfriend never underestimate those pigeons!
• JRPG: Final Fantasy and Tales of series, especially Final Fantasy VII and X. and those endless amounts of RPG Maker games like "Machina of the Planet Tree -Planet Ruler-" ^^

I don't really have a favourite anime, but Durarara and Soul Eater are for sure in my top. Don't really care about manga and VNs to be honest, and I haven't played any jrpg in a looooong time, only if pokemon counts XD

Darker than Black is my favourite anime, then tied in second is Steins;Gate and Samurai Shamploo.
I can't decide on which manga is better, but since many anime is based on manga in any case, maybe Darker than Black. :)
I got into Yotsuba&! just because of the whole Danbo thing, and even own a few Danbo toys....managed to even get a few other people interested in Danbo (mostly females) who also take photos with it. :) Spread the geek.

I'm a fan of the older anime movies: Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D, Fist Of The North Star, Akira, Ghost In The Shell, etc.
Manga? I probably would choose the Akira and Ghost in the Shell series.
Visual novels would probably be Hatoful Boyfriend.
As for jrpgs gotta go with Final Fantasy series.
