Whats up with all the Dota 2 Giveaways?

Normally I'd say that people were just trying to raise their contribution value without paying for anything, but the fact that DoTa 2 is going to be f2p and the giveaways have no contribution value makes me wonder... Are people actually trying to be generous by giving away extra DoTa 2 keys, or are they just morons?

Too many of them to be honest, for example I got so many Dota 2 passes you cant imagine it, I would never make a giveaway about it
