i bought that base game simply because i had a coupon making it $2.72

Honestly I would just play Tribes ascend at this point, Section 8 is dead from what I hear(least thats what people on the Steam forum say), beta codes for the new tribes are free if you like there Facebook page, once you like it you can go to the side panel and claim your key. I hear these games are similar to each other...might as well try it, that is unless you really want to play Section 8 for single player only...not sure if the DLC is worth it at this point.

Definitely the maps over the weapons, but the map pack you choose varies on personal preference.

Is that's the daily deal on Steam? So that's why I didn't see one. I've seen this game on a giveaway before and saw that it isn't available in my region.
