You only get an extra copy of L4D1, not L4D2.

I believe Valve's policy is if it says you will get an extra copy you will, if not you just waste money. Which is stupid

Nope, unless the bundle says so on the page. 99% of the time you wont get the other games you already own as a gift. Same with indie bundles.

Also it says Left 4 Dead, nothing about two. I guess you can ask steam support, but doubt they'll do much.

Restart ur steam

You always have to check the store page and the checkout. It will explicitly TELL YOU if you can receive an extra copy to give away. Otherwise, nothing.

contact them, or wait, the servers are exploding right now...
also try to re-start steam, sometimes the things in the inventory appears after restarting the client

And if all those things don't work... your pretty much screwd ^^

You had L4D2 so when you got the bundle you didn't get an extra copy, you had to have LAD1, they are giving an extra copy of the 1st game not the second one. I hope I got that right

Man i hate to be harsh on you but this was a dumb decision you made. It clearly states that you only get extras of L4D1 if you already own the game, it only applies with that one, not the 2nd one.

Plus you should have given the bundle to your brother because L4D1 is pretty much included in L4D2 already, so no point getting it...
