You can try to start installing the steam version (so the folder is created for Res5) than you can try to put your existing files in that folder and resume the download. You would need the app ID of the game though and I'm not sure this will work. But it's worth a try

Resident Evil 5/Biohazard 5
i've Resident Evil 5 (GFWL version) and now one of my friend has shared his acc. and now i was about to download Resident Evil 5/Biohazard 5 (Steam version) so i was thinking, instead of downloading whole game can't just download those files which i'm missing as many files of game are same tho (6Gb approx). Any way to do this? :/
