I have no idea how many I've played, probably not enough due to limited time available. For what it's worth I'm already part of Playing Appreciated and I have played all my 5 wins in time, I only apply for those I know I can play at that time in less than 1 month which is the group limit. I think Dishonored is my favorite win, maybe because it was the first "big" win, but it also just happened to be a great game. Being a member of PA definitely motivated me to start playing more of my wins, life has gotten in the way but this site reminds me to stick to my long time hobby despite all the irl problems, video games definitely help me cope with everything. Good luck with the group regardless of my potential membership.

I checked your stats ;) This is what shows up for me :
Games with any Playtime 45.1% (32/71)
Avg. Achievement Percentage 36.8%

Hello dantenemo,
happy to hear, you like the group! Sadly your playing doesn't fit (yet) to our minimum, so we can't make room for you yet. But once you battled a bit more of those win, I'd be happy to see you back here :)
And yes, Dishonored was a blast! It took me four tries to finally get really into it and then it was just... wow! I loved it!
Hope your rl problems solve out soonish :)
All the best :)

I would like to join. My favourite SG win is Prey because screenshots.

I'm applying to join the group.
I like the idea of group and I think I qualify for it. I was always entering GAs only for games that I would play, and for games that I have not played/finished yet, I will play them all.
So now my stats are OK:
Games with any Playtime 90.9% (20/22)
Avg. Achievement Percentage 67.4%
Games with ≥1 Achievement 88.2% (15/17)
Achievement Rates ≥25% complete: 76.5% (13/17), completed: 35.3% (6/17)
My favorite SG win, hm... Splasher. It's a fun and challenging platformer with stylish look and nice audio. The level design is just great, and also there are a lot of funny names and easter eggs in the titles of levels and achievements.

splasher is awesome. it gives you the feeling of speedrunning without speedrunning :D

Hi, you have a lot of games with ~6-10 hours of played times (HOGs etc). Some of these games don't have in-game achievements and some do. Part of achievement games are clearly beaten but part shows 0%. Can you comment about this?
If looking particularly at wins during last half a year, there is everywhere playtime but most achievement games show 0%.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for answer.
What are your plans for other not played wins? Are there many games you don't plan to play at all?
According to BLAEO, you have finished ~44% of wins plus a couple of games are dropped. Script-wise, your statistics is exceeding our checking limits, but for the entrance into the group we would like to see more games played, and this approach to wins continued. There is a formidable percentage of gifts which were not tried at all yet, but since you seem to enjoy these types of games, we hope that playing these wins will be fun.
We hope to see you reapplying soon!

Hi, your steam account shows only this statistics:
Games with ≥1 Achievement 50.0% (3/6)
Achievement Rates chart ≥25% complete: 33.3% (2/6), completed: 0.00% (0/6)
And for users with fewer than 10 wins the number Achievement Rates chart ≥25% complete: should exceed minimum 80%.
Particularly, Tropico shows 2 hours of play time and 0% of achievements earned, similarly to Heart and Seoul and Paranormal State: Poison Spring. Strategy & Tactics: Dark Ages does not appear played either.
If you are planning to [re]play these games to apply again in future, we suggest to use this Kelnage's script for checking these statistics yourself.

Bump, and also I'd appreciate if anyone took the time to run the script on me because I'm kinda curious about my current stats.

I've already completed Mafia 1 and 2, so I should be ready to get into 3 without any problem. I've completed TWD Season 1 multiple times, the only thing stopping me from starting Season 2 is that I don't have the 400 Days DLC, from which the choices also matter in Season 2 supposedly :)
PS. I also love TWD from what I've played :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Sounds good! I have a couple of games I only want to play in order. Others (like Thief and Hitman) I've started with the newer ones and worked my way backwords. It's pretty... different doing it that way :D
Although the 400 Days DLC wasn't bad... it doesn't REALLY affect the second season. It's like either some characters are there or not really shrugs But then I understand you ;) AND I have played the game also a couple of times! Wanted to try different approaches for Lee and Clem! <3
Comment has been collapsed.
Most of the times I do my best to play games in order, except if a game in the series is really bad. I'm just doing that with Tomb Raider actually, played from Legend through Tomb Raider (2013) in the last month or two, playing Rise of the Tomb Raider at the moment thanks to the power of shared libraries. :D
After that I think I'll probably play Mafia 3, along with Devil May Cry 4 (haven't managed to finish it yet) :D
Also... Lee :'(
Comment has been collapsed.
I really tried playing the old Tomb Raider games, but I fear I might be do dumb and jumpy scared with them :D
But I'll definitely will try them again. At some point. nod nod
Really gotta work on my Sherlock Holmes games though. And AC and... yeah, you know what I mean, right? :D
Sounds great! Hope you'll have fun with them!
Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! sniff
Comment has been collapsed.
Indeed they can be challenging or maybe even frustrating at times, they haven't aged that well.
Now that you mention AC... haven't played any of them starting from Unity (and also haven't finished Revelations), so I do know what you mean :D
I hope so too! :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, sadly. Although worse than the first TR game was the first Hitman game. I didn't even manage to get out of the Tutorial o.o
Uh, I loved those Ezio parts! My last played one was Black Flag. So Freedom Cry is atm waiting for me! Once I get a bit of room in this battle against games, I shall get to it! <3
Comment has been collapsed.
I did start Freedom Cry after finishing Black Flag, although I honestly got kind of bored after a while and couldn't finish it. It just didn't seem to have that Black Flag kind of magic for me :)
EDIT: Also, did I mention I'm also playing Horizon Zero Dawn in the hopes of finishing it? :D

I'd like to join.
My favourite win would have to be Dead Cells. It's a great game and I really enjoy it, and seeing it grow over time and playing the different updates as they come out is quite fun.

Oh yeah, 65h in Dead Cells, very nice! \o/
But since you have less then 10 wins, you need 80% of your games beaten with 25%. Just a little more with Punch Club, Styx or Broforce. I guess Civ has a bit too much to do, to raise the numbers that easily ;)
Hope you don't mind playing them a bit more :)
Have a great time and I'm looking forward to you reapplying! :)

I certainly didn't mind playing them more.
Are my stats up to your standards now that I've gotten a few more achievements?
Comment has been collapsed.
You still have less than minimal 80% of required statistics for people with less than 10 wins, but this formality is not the biggest our concern. In fact your 77% could be seen as pretty good statistics. However, this shows that you don't understand our requirements or didn't read anything in the first place. You should control your playing wins and checking your statistics in all regards yourself. But let's have a look on what you did:
Punch Club 0.1 hrs last two weeks / 6.1 hrs on record
Broforce 1.7 hrs last two weeks / 9.1 hrs on record
So you quickly got a few more achievements in two of your started wins to increase number of games with 25% of completed achievements and reapplied. Do you realize that this is not what our group is about? We are gathering people who enter/win giveaways for games which they genuinely want to play, and then play and enjoy the wins.
You have beaten Broforce in the past and got a pair of new achievements now, uh, okay no comment. But Punch Club, 3 new achievements in 3 minutes, do you consider this game finished / beaten / decently played now after this? We don't. Instead of actually beating more of your past wins, you show us this simple trickery with the easiest possible statistic boosting. What's your reasoning behind this attempt? Do you think that getting new members with this mindset would make our group team and current group members happy? No. I am surprised you did think that this doing will let you in the group. Please read our group info to get a better idea of what kind of community we are trying to gather. You can also read this comment. If you are not interested in Punch Club anymore, finish Styx: Master of Shadows, explore Civilization 5 which is a really great and fun game. What are your plans for these games?
Good things people do to each other matter. Maybe you don't agree with this. Take your time.

Hi! I would like to join. Well, I know I'm only a bit above 50% threshold, but I'm trying to improve this stat (I'm using "Do you even play, bro?" script for few months and I'm trying to maintain this 50% for myself, so falling below will be a shame - I have resolution that if I fall below it I would leave all ongoing gibs until I fix this stat).
Well, it is hard to pick one favorite game I won here, but if I need to do so it would be probably undertale. Why? Well, before I won it here I tried to play it, but I didn't consider it really entertaining. But since I won it I decided to give it a decent try. Well this was really good choice. I was finally sucked by plot, world and characters. Even if I dont like fight system (I suck at bullet hells) I beat it 3 times doing normal, true and genocide route (damn you, Sans).
I described some of my other wins on my blaeo (but I'm not really active user of it).
Well, if I'm not good enough I'm understand and I will apply once more when I improve my stats. :)

Okay, now that I've read the rules and FAQ, I would like to officially apply for membership. I'm anything but a hoarder and I enter giveaways for games I would genuinely play regardless if a group requires it. My favorite win is The Journey Down because I thought it would be a standard P&C (whose characters happen to have really weird heads), but it turned out to be super immersive and one of the realest games I've encountered.

Hey again,
sorry you had wait so long! And I must agree with you: the script alone says, you fit, but since we also consider the games without achievements, it's sadly not quite enough. I hope you are not too dissapointed but instead are going to play a few more things. We would very much like to have you with us, you just need to play a few more games. Like maybe finish Pahelika - they never tend to take that long - and... you never touched Jotun? Maybe that would be the perfect chance to go for it :)
I hope you'll have loads of fun and come back to reapply and play with us! :)
Happy gaming!

Hello MRLW!
YOU HAVE THIEF AND HITMAN! <3
Ok cough
Right, where was I? Your stats. Sadly they are not as high as we would like them to be. Maybe you could play a few more of your games (THIEF! HITMAN!!! <3) and push those numbers!
I hope you don't mind and come back, reapplying :)
Btw, I'm just curious. How did you like the Wolf among us? I soooo enjoyed the game! bounce
Hope to hear from you! Have a great time gaming!

are you sure?
as for what i see on blaeo profile i played more the 50% of them (38/57 + 3 who are broken games for me: Stronghold Legends, Warmachine Tactics and Savage Lands which makes it 41/57 ) and total achievements well they should be above 25% ....^_^
can you post my stats? so i will know where i stand?
Wolf among us is a true gem i actually liked him better the the walking dead, the combination of "rough" attitude yet soft and concerned to the surrounding really made the story for me (kindev reminds me wolverine from xmen) - did that game on a marathon :D

I know, it sometimes looks different. It's about having 50% of the wins with at least 25% cheevos. That's why the numbers don't fit (yet).
I hope you're not too dissapointed and hey, it's just temporarily as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure you can beat a few more :)
Oh it was! <3
Although. Ah, no. I couldn't decided which one was better. I loved them both!
And yep, I totally like playing them through in one go too! That's also why I normally wait for all episodes to be out :D It's WAY better that way. Instead of waiting and waiting... :/
Comment has been collapsed.
well some of the games achievements unavailable for me, ether dlc i dont own or multiplayer i dont play (like Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf or Rise of the Tomb Raider) the majority of the others are done, but if it dosent fit then it dosent fit ^_^
and i do the same for example i try to prospone a game if i dont have all the dlc so i wont have to play it again and again (for example bioshock) :D
but if the content is mostly for multiplayer or skins then i dont wait ^_^
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah yeah. Missing DLCs tend to drag the achievements down - and multiplayer only ones also... can be a bummer.
That's a shame though. Well maybe at some point it'll fit :)
Or you stumble across something you might still wanna play, without waiting anymore.
I wish you all the best! Would be nice to see you give us another try in the future :)

Hey guys,
My best won game was Borderlands 2, I spent a lot of hours to beat it and I will play it even further to gather more achievements. I didn't know about Borderlands series before but I really enjoy it, it was a nice discovery.
I know I have enough wins to keep me occupied for a long time but I respect my backlog and of course I will play them all, but I choose the order :)
I also am a member of Playing Appreciated and I always completed my wins from that group.
My BLAEO
Thanks!

Hey ghidy77,
Trouble is, we also count the games that have no achievements (and are therefor not part of the script). So although you seem to have 50% you are really a bit below that. Maybe you could play a few more games to show us, you really wanna beat those wins ;)
[Edit] So we have to ask you, to come back later after you have beaten a few more games and reapply. Because right now we think you could totally play a few more of your wins :)
And yep, I totally see you playing Deus Ex right now! bounce How do you like the game?
Have great gaming time! And I hope to see you soon!

Hey guys, how are you doing? Lately, I continued playing my wins and I want to let you know I reached 56% percentage of completed / beaten wins. I finished Deus Ex, Memento Mori and Alter Ego (I'm a big point&click games fan). Of course I will still continue playing the other wins, until I reach 100%
See you ! #neverstopplaying

Hello there. I think I fit the criteria! I'm not a completionist, so if I don't get a lot of achievements in a playthrough, I'm usually not going back for them, so some games, like Owlboy, where it's entirely possible to miss all achievements and still beat the game, are sadly sitting at a very low %.
As for my favourite win, I have won a few great games over the years, but I think it will have to go to Hollow Knight. It's a very atmospheric and beautiful metroidvania with incredibly tight controls, and large and interesting world to explore, fun bosses, nice combat mechanics... the list can be made longer, but I do consider it to be one of the best games I've ever played, and it even de-throned Super Metroid as the greatest Metroidvania I've played. That's a game that has been holding the top spot since 1994.

Hi. I have 80% games with 25% or more achievements, but in my case script doesn't represent my game progress that well. Here's short descriptions of games I won:
So,
Still, with rules mentioned in one of the comments above I would be automatically kicked out of the group after winning something because I would fail 80% completion rule (10 or less wins), so I at least summarized my five (on and off) years with steamgifts.

This discussion is closed for personal reasons - don't worry there will be a new one ;)
Playing Matters is a group that values playing wins from SteamGifts. We hope to create a respectable and dependable platform to unite friendly and passionate gamers.
Our group is not so much about making giveaways, but about enjoying what we already have and sharing fun with like-minded people. We aim to create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere in our group.
We fully encourage fun little chats to take place in our group giveaways. Additionally we have our own Discord server for our members to make new friends and enjoy each other’s company while also enjoying our wins.
Before applying to join our group, please make sure that:
How to apply:
If you meet the requirements mentioned above and want to join, reply to this topic stating that you are applying to the group and tell us a bit about your favourite SG win. It doesn’t have to be much - maybe a sentence or two.
Creating a BLAEO account is not required but we’d still like you to post the link to your profile if you have it, whether you use it actively or not.
We will have a look at your profile(s) and contact you in due time.
We hope to see you among us. Have fun winning games and playing them!
Please don’t send friend requests to mods or admins.
If your application is rejected please don’t allow this to break your spirit. Instead use it as a motivation to discover and enjoy new games among your SG wins. Who knows maybe your next favourite game is right around the corner.
Additional Info:
As a member of Playing Matters moderator team, I'd like to emphasize that our group is oriented into beating all the possible wins. Not just trying/starting won games and dropping them. Beating games is totally not just about getting 25% of achievements either. Majority of games unlocks 25% of achievements way before being beaten and these dropped wins are not what we are looking for with our requirements. We have to look into each applying user personally.
While for members of PM the maintenance rule will be checked using Kelnage's scripts plus by periodically looking into playing statistics (to counter cheating etc.), when we are checking accounts of a person who applies to the group, we wish to see more than 50% of wins beaten. If account has less than half of wins taken a good care or if this percentage is unclear for us, we will prefer the future member of PM to play more of their wins first before entering our small community, where mostly everyone exceeds our minimal requirements by a decent margin and deserves similarly responsible and passionate winners.
We are totally not in hurry to make our group bigger.
I'd like to emphasize also, that entering our group and winning games outside of the group, which will not be played, will not be taken lightly. A decent and honest person should learn to control own appetites and possibilities. While we don't have specific formal rules regarding members' wins outside of PM, our group is created for people who believe that playing SG wins is the only correct approach to received gifts and who acts correspondingly and consistently to it (with the only relaxation regarding very old wins, which are still encouraged to be given a decent try). Our group's formal rules are a projection of our ideas/ideals, not the other way around, so everyone who wants to join, please seriously consider if you are up to our standards and course.
