You may want to get a bike and do shopping etc. on it at the start so it doesn't feel like exercise. My knees are busted so no jogging for me.

I used to work out until my right toe broke. Now that it's fixed I'm gonna start again.

The first week was painful, mostly because I wasn't used to exercising and did 45 mins in the first and second days. Non-stop. After I recovered I started exercising daily again.

I'd say you should start slowly. Jog for 5 minutes the first week, do two-session routines of push-ups, sit-ups, etc. and walk for half an hour.
Second week: Jog for 6 minutes, three-session routines of the other exercises, keep walking for half an hour.
Third week: Jog for 7 minutes, four-session routines of the other exercises, walk for 45 minutes.

When your body finally gets used to exercising (Probably by the end of the first month), start jogging at least 15-20 minutes a day, keep doing four-session routines of the rest, and walk for at least a whole hour.

You can also go to a gym if you're willing to pay.

Remember to balance your calories intake and burning per day. There are apps and websites that help do that, the best I've found being FatSecret.

I'm no expert, but I hope my method helps you.

I like your routine.
Unfortunately I cant run nor ride a bike, due permanent knee "injury". So, what would you recommend me as a regiment? I was thinking of fast-paced-walking but not quite sure.

Sorry to hear that...
I've been told just walking can be quite helpful. I'd recommend walking in a fast pace an hour a day, once you get used to it.
I would check with an expert first, though.

Expert, my doctor/surgeon, told me that I can run in theory. But he forgot that I have to first regain my muscles in my thigh, which requires some kind of training and running is the best, the fastest and the easiest way to do so. And you see my predicament.

Also, 10Kg less wouldn't hurt either! XD

So, your calculation is 5 mins of jogging is ~45 mins of face-paced-walking?

Actually, 45 mins of fast-paced walking should burn more calories than 5 mins of jogging. But considering your issue I'd start with just 25 minutes, 35 if you're thinking of doing it at a moderate pace.

Find something you enjoy. As someone that has lost a ton of weight, (150lbs +/-), I am slowly improving my jog length times.

Just keep taking walks in the mountains of Skyrim and you will get those sexy Hag glutes in time..

Seriously... stop being a such whimp, buy yourself a set of kettlebells and workout like a man.

I don't enjoy running, but I do enjoy lifting weights. Sure, during my set I'm hating life or right before a big lift I don't want to do it. But there is something very satisfying when you can see the progress in the mirror and when you progressively up your weights. I constantly strive to lift heavier and heavier and hit new PRs, which is what really keeps me going back. It can get expensive going to a gym, but I highly recommend it anyone! Gyms are very noob friendly, too. A lot of people said they feel intimidated going as first timers but I see first timers trying all the time at the gym and it makes me proud to see them taking a step in a new direction with their life. Sure, they struggle, but we all did when we first started. It pumps me up. So get out there and keep it up with the jogging, dude. Seriously, it sucks now but it gets easier.

Don't listen to anyone. Workout are for the weak, they make subsequent physical activities easier. Therefore, to go really hardcore on life, you need to keep yourself blissfully sluggish.

Never try to "Push" I know it sounds stupid, but if you're not already in peak physical shape then you need to start out slow, make sure to Stretch, and get moving.

Just 10 minutes a day has been shown to reduce the Risk of Heart attacks, Cancer, and any number of bad things by Half.

You wanna start out slow, doing maybe a mile a day if your not in shape at all, when you get to where you can walk a mile in 30mins, then you would start Jogging and see how far you can get, but never push yourself so hard you can't finish.

My father recently lost 100lbs doing this. It took 3 years, which may seem like a long time, but you have to understand, he started with 1 mile, then started doing 2, then 3, then 5, then 10.

Now he's back down to 5 miles per day, but he does that in about 2 hours, which isn't shabby for a guy in his 60's.

Thanks for your comment :)
i've been walking and jogging "almost" everyday for the past 2-3 weeks and right now it feels a lot better..
and by better i mean,i don't feel like dying after 5 minutes of running but i still think of quitting after every session :)

your father has done a great thing and i see he is really dedicated, most people aren't able to do that....
tell him to keep up the good job :) i hope i can be as dedicated as your father.

I'm in the same boat mate. I'm 320lbs and only 5'10", so I need to lose a liitle over 100lbs to be at an ideal Body weight, but it takes time.

The term "Diet' is something of a bit of misinformation. To most People the word Diet refers to something they do temporarily in order to lose like 10lbs, but when your Talking about losing 100lbs, it means that your gonna eat that same kind of food for years. So it literally becomes your "Daily Diet" for pretty much the rest of your life.

That's the part that really Blows, giving up all the Yummy things that make your Veins fill up with Lard.
Icecream, Cake, Cookies, and Salt. You miss that last one most of all, because it means you have to cut all the Salty stuff from your Diet, like Soda and Potato Chips.

Too much Salt, or Too much Sugar, does this to your veins.
