The choice is really up to you , its a good game though

Rogue Legacy is grindy. If grinding for golds is your stuff, then you'll like it. If you're looking for roguelike fun, there's Risk of Rain and FTL.

Ultimately its your decision. I got it on GOG last Christmas and played it for a couple weeks. I do want to get back to it one day but other games have taken precedence for now.
