Depends only on the game being given away. Don't care how much it costs.

+1. It's not about quantity, but quality.

More of this.

I like all giveaways (and love/enter for) giveaways for games that I think I'll play - or even seeing ones for good games that I already have and know someone is going to love.

100% right. Forget the price, it's all about how good the game is.

in my humble opinion
5-10 cheaper games is better, cause sometimes expensive game is not my favourite (for example - F1 racing simulator is expensive, but i don't like it so much). In few cheaper games usually i will find something intresting.

Indie games IE: Limbo, Saira, Braid, Bastion, From Dust, Rock of Ages, Zeno Clash, Orcs Must Die, Lugaru, Trine
3 / 4-pack Co-Op games IE: Magicka, Dungeon Defenders, Serious Sam 1&2, Terraria, Bunch of Heroes
Underrated gems IE: Risen, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Mount & Blade, Divinity 2, Red Faction

Anything that supports indie developers or people playing co-op with their friends

oh thats what I'm trying to say for example I could make a giveaway with 1 copy of something like Modern warfare 3,
or if i get it at good price I could make a giveaway of like 10 copies of limbo,
just checking up on what people seem to prefer more, more chances to win smaller games or a riskier expensive title

I'd prefer bigger titles, despite the lack of chance in winning one. Not necessarily the more expensive ones, but stuff like Serious Sam 3, Dungeon Siege, etc. I guess mid-range priced titles?

Quality games that you can get in a large quantity rather.

Personally, I would be happier with either one Giveaway of a really high-priced game (Skyrim, Saints Row the Third, etc) or a few Giveaways with moderately priced games (Oblivion, Mass Effect 2, BioShock 2, etc).
There are already plenty of people giving away the cheaper $1-$5 games every day, so I don't see much need for more of those.

so all you care about is the price of the games. please kill yourself and increase all of our odds of winning anything.

No, it's just that he has no chance to enter giveaways for bigger games because those giveaways do not exist currently. That's all he's saying.

Also, telling him to kill himself is not polite or funny. Stop it; it makes you look like a child and douchebag.

I'd say go with either a single large giveaway or a couple mid-price ones. The problem with a cheaper game is that: A) More people own many of them. B) Indie games hold the problem of being featured in the HiB-style things eventually, so eventually they'll be next to free. Not to mention they are normally quite cheap during sales. and C) Indie games are very iffy when it comes to quality. Something that some love, others will hate. Most AAA titles are good enough where more people will be able to enjoy it.

Rather go for .......... than a single O.

Its just common sense especially when there are so many fantasic and cheap indie games out there.

Personally i dont look specifically for a AAA title or anything, i usually look for old games, as they have (for me) alot more replayability (hell, tell me Fallout 1 and 2 have less replayability than Fallout 3, i dare you).

To your question (sorry went off topic there), i'd take the smaller giveaways, usually its quality over quantity, but as of todays time, i dont think there were alot of games that did exeptionally good (and i mean story wise and gameplay wise, and of course PC, so alot of multiplayer games are letf out IMO), so i'd prefer to have a lets say an indie title giveaway with 5 extra copies.

I favor giveaways with cheaper games and multiple winners. A "big" game is only expensive because it's new, and will undoubtedly drop in price in a year's time. Cheaper games are usually just games that have already done that, and having multiple winners means you make more people happy. Hell, winning anything out of another's unnecessary generosity is fortunate enough; asking for it to meet price criteria is avaricious.

Generally I know if I want an expensive feature game before it comes out so usually I have all the feature games I want, that's not to say I wouldn't try out new ones that I might like. If you are just asking for an opinion I'd say quantity :)

It really depends in the game, but generally I think it's better to have a bunch of cheaper giveaways, so that more people can win :)

Preferable indie - good games for good price.

More giveaways - more happy people obviously.

I would prefer cheaper games, with good quality (indie), with several copies in one giveaway.

Private giveways where only I have the link, thank you!

Now really, I'd go with quality over quantity like someone said earlier.
If it's a 2$ game I can afford it if I want it.

But maybe I'm just thinking selfishly.
If you look at things in another way, a big game will make one person happy while a lot of cheaper games will make a lot of people happy.
