How do I get to win something?

Patience is a virtue, it's gonna take a while. But it will happen eventually.

Chose your battles : If you see a giveaway for a large and popular game with 5000 participants and 2 or 3 weeks left for more participants to join, your odds of winning will be very slim.

But if you see a giveaway for a game with only a few hundred participants with a mere 30 or 60 minutes left for last-minute participant, your odds of winning will be much better.

Once you've won a few games, you might consider giving some yourself, and earn CV points that will allow you to level up. Giveaways available at higher levels have better odds of winning: a Level 1 giveaway means no one at Level 0 (aka most members) can participate, so your odds will be a lot higher.

Ask again when you've been here for 2 months.

I kinda feel bad now because I felt so unlucky xD I won 12 games so far and have 2700+ entries... but those 12 games were in the first 1000 entries and nothing since then so... FeelsBadMan :<

I'm at 1500+ entries, and I won a single game thanks to a puzzle lol
But now I'm Level 1, so games are going to start raining on me, right?

Over 12k entries and won 39 games. More than half of those are from an old group I used to hang with (less than 50 people entered the giveaways). Never tell me the odds.

Just need to be lucky lol
But to be honest you need patience and that's all.

33,334 entries and won 164 games in my 4 years here. There are times people have droughts when they don't win. I'm on a month and a half now since I last won. And I feel that I have won a fair share and am not disappointed.

Then you get some people here that haven't won in a year or more.

It takes time, entries in more than what your wishlist is, and groups. Also, try to be nice so some people might whitelist you for private GA's.

I entered a lot before I won one.

Got to look for ones with lower numbers. Chances of winning the games with 2000/5000+ entries is quite low...

Some enter everything I'm just entering the ones I like the look of.
