Heavy Bullets is not bad if they add more things to it, much more actually, for now it barely offers any gameplay for more than couple of hours.
Also I don't think it will be removed from GA list, just bundled, since there won't be that much GAs of it anyways to consider that, also game is not worth $8, and there won't be a lot of ppl paying that much for it.

Heavy bullets is a really fun game and the majority of the people who have it and wrote reviews for it on steam like it. You shouldn't make decisions based on the word of one person.
It is a hard game and if you look at sviat's achievements he/she hasn't gotten past level 4 so I really don't understand how he/she can comment on how much a game has to offer when they've seen less than half of it and have played for less than 2 hours.

All other rougelike games offer a way more stuff even for first 1-2h, is OP wants to buy it, then checking Youtube is a better idea.

"all other"? that's a pretty broad statement I'll admit that it doesn't give you as many options as most traditional rougelikes but I think it holds up very well against other fps roguelikes like Tower of Guns, paranautical activity, rogue shooter: the fps roguelike, and receiver, even better in most of those cases.

you should see if one of your friends wants to go halfs on the extra $3 or $4 it would cost to get the top tier since it gives an extra copy. And I would recommend doing what sviat said check out some lets plays on youtube.

Yeah, not sure about this one. 1$ tier seems decent and heavy bullets too. BTA, not so much. I'll probably just go for the low tier since I don't see myself spending an extra 7$ just for heavy bullets.

Vertical Drop Heroes: Very good, but doesn't feel much like a roguelike. Great local coop action though!
Nightmare Coop: Good puzzle/roguelike. Balance between keeping your characters alive, and collecting gold.
Delver is very much Ultima Underworld as a roguelike.
$1 tier is great on this one, BTA not bad and I haven't played Heavy Bullets so I can't comment on that one.
This one would be a Hell Yes! from me if I didn't have half the games...
