I believe the rule here against asking for donations is pretty strict and no matter what your reasoning or intentions are, I don't think asking for donations in any way will be allowed. There will be different opinions from different users on how they feel, but that does not change the rule. The decision comes down to support, or more likely CG, and it would probably be better to ask them directly through a support ticket.

Sorry, but no, asking for donations isn't allowed on Steamgifts.
I can imagine 100's or even 1000's of users in your shoes, and while I feel bad about your situation, the forums would simply be flooded with threads asking for donations if it were allowed.

When in doubts, you can always create a support ticket in "Other" category and ask. You will get advice from support/moderators, and this is much more precise than user opinions here.

I'm wondering if I anyone knows any fundraising websites or methods that I use normally outside of the major accepted countries. Additional suggestions on ways to earn money, opportunities for different countries, etc, are all appreciated. Thank you in advance folks. As promised in the previous text, here are some giveaways.
