Every time, with almost every hyped AAA game I see the same thread. Boo-hoo, the game sucks on day one and I paid soooo much money for this pile of crap.
WHY
DOESN'T
EVERYONE
STOP
PRE-ORDERING
ALREADY?!
I mean, I can understand, this particular game was looking promising, but even with the heaviest discounts available for pre-order, the game cost $30 with the season pass. Even so, why the hell throw so much money out for something that hasn't been tested properly by individual third parties? Hell I mean $30 is nothing compared to the frickin' $90 they want without discounts including the season pass, it's a 66% discount but...god dammit, still!
Well, I'll see other people whining about whatever AAA game gets released in the near future here soon, nothing changes and publishers will continue to release games in such a terrible state, for prices too high, with exclusive pre-order bonuses no one needs.
Dear people of the universe, you're not cows, you don't need to be milked daily, your udders won't hurt from it.
Yes, I am aware this post doesn't add much contributional value to this thread. I feel sorry for the portion of users that expected a great game (I did so, too, and I hope, this will all get patched in the future, because I'm very fond of the game myself!) but...man..every..single...time.

Because many of the gamers have short memories and lack severaly in patiance.

1) In Rocksteady pseudo-defense: they never cared about PC and outsourced port, it's not their hands that released this buggy mess. It's still their fault they didn't played it for 5 minutes and seen their money was used to wipe someones arse, not to make proper work.
2) Damn, this game was supposed to be released in 2014. Can you imagine in what state it was then...

I feel sorry for people who bought it in pre order, mostly because Batman from Rocksteady was a sure shot ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I must be lucky, because I have no playability issue with it. It runs in 1920/1080 with correct graphics (not like UT99's screenshot ^^), there are some little slowdowns from time to time but it's really not that bad for me. I have a decent PC but not an awfully expensive war machine (i5 3570, 8go ram, gtx780, no ssd hd). Maybe I didn't play it long enough, I don't now :)

that's good news for poeple who have great problems with it.
I wonder what they will do with all these bad reviews, game is crushed by now, 29% positives http://store.steampowered.com/app/208650/

there's a "good" reason this console port is terrible: http://community.wbgames.com/t5/Support-for-PC/PC-Performance-issues-we-hear-you/m-p/571341
We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.
they don't even work on porting it, another developer does.

i tried it last night. it is definitely playable for me. but the fps range goes from ~30 to 60 (at 2560*1080, all maxed out) with very few drops below 30. so while i don't suffer from those extremely low fps some people report, it's still a bad performance. i should be able to run at 60fps with a GTX 970...

High fives self for not preordering it
I've been lucky on my preorders this year so far! :D
Hopefully, the devs will patch is really soon though. This was a really hyped game.

Today i see also a price increase, from 49.99€ to 54.99€ for standard edition, the premium edition costs 92.99€.
Or i am mistaken?

wasn't there a preorder discount of 10%? not sure, but that would explain it.

They forgot the most important rule of succesful outsourcing then:
You are still fully responsible for the final product, no matter who builds it. So you should still run your own QA.

Well look who is responsible for the bad port to pc: Iron Galaxy Studios

"Borderlands 2 2014 PlayStation Vita"
This explains a lot.If i remember correctly,Borderlands 2 was nearly unplayable on Ps Vita (Frequent frame-drops) and they fixed it a month or two later and it still suffer from frame drops not as much as it used to be though.

I'm yet to receive my copy (retail pre order) and really wanted to buy the Season Pass (cause of Batgirl :P) but now it seems the season pass will really be a waste of money. At least getting a exclusive Arkham Knight t shirt, Harley Quinn and Red Hood story dlc pack...

WB should probably get a better PR team... "The Recommended Spec is intended to deliver an experience on par with the current generation of gaming platforms.". Obviously PC gamers are fine with having a 2-5 times more powerful system and getting a similar (or worse) experience as on consoles.
This one is just funny: "For users that have an SSD available, we’ve noted increased streaming performance when the game is installed to that type of drive."

I had high hopes for Batman: Arkham Knight cause the Development studio: Rocksteady (one of my favorites) and one of my favorite game franchises, checked today after the release to see only negative reviews from the steam users, 37%...what?
What happened again and why...
