As I'm sure you're aware of by now, any time anybody responds to a discussion you posted, or directly to a comment you've made (such as this one), you will be notified in your Messages tab. However, as others have mentioned, you will only get notifications about stuff you yourself have posted, and it won't be a push notification (i.e. it won't go to email or phone, it'll just show when you log in). Any other new discussions or threads, you'll have to do it manually.
That said, there IS one little trick you can do. Download one of the many add-ons/extensions that reloads tabs for you (every major browser that I know of has several). Open the Deals page in a new tab, and in the upper right corner select "Sort By: New". This will not cause comments to move a discussion to the top (aka "bumps"), it will only show the discussions themselves in the order posted. Then set your auto-reload extension to, say, every 15 minutes. Now, whenever you look at that tab, it will always be current, and it will always have the newest discussions at the top regardless of number of comments. You still have to manually check it on a regular basis, but it at least reduces the chances of new stuff getting "lost in the clutter", so to speak.

Like madsession already said, trading is not allowed here!
I am a member of 'GrabFreeGames' on Steam and if you subscribe to their 'Free Games - All Platforms - Notification Thread' you get a message about free games BUT not sure if they are all mentioned, so far I saw a lot, but that is outside of Steamgifts, I don't think you can get a notification from here unless ESGST added it and I never noticed but doubt it.

Alienware has a phone app. It alerted me to the Eternal Cylinder giveaway when it started. I checked the site about 10 min after the alert and got a key. I grabbed this one because It looks like fun.
Lots of people complaining whenever they do a GA on the site about bots. But I've never had any issues getting a key if it was something I was interested in. Most of those complaining are after its been running for a couple hours. So ya, they are out by the time those people try. I'm sure there are bots but I don't think its like some seem to think it is.
Note. No trading here. We just give stuff away. And it was Epic so it will not have GAs here.

I have been a member of the group for a long time. I haven't participated in the giveaways at all and assume that i am missing out by not doing that. I learned how to use steam web integration through the group and it is amazing. I mainly just check the "Deals" section daily as its a great spot to find out about free game giveaways and look at the latest bundles. I generally miss a lot of the Alienware giveaways even though i am level 30. Is there some notification to let me know every time a new thread is created in the deals section? That would be perfect to let me get a key in time.. For example todays Eternal Cylinder giveaway.. That game looks good. Is there a way for me to try and trade it here in steamgifts or should i just look for giveaways? I just discovered ESGST script today and installed but it will take forever as i have over 10k games in my steam collection. Are there any other great scripts i should know about? Is there a better place to be asking questions like this?
Any tips/ideas or directions to start reading up on are appreciated. I feel like i am probably missing out on a lot of potential on the site here.. Thanks in advance..
