Its name is Eugene Goostman, a 13 year old chatbot from Ukrania. Fooled 33% of the judges in a recent contest held by the Royal Society.
It also has a guinea pig and a shaky grasp on the English language.
Please, keep in mind, that the contest was somewhat rigged and that its success has been exagerated quite a bit by many media searching for a juicy headline on Turing's death anniversary. Nonetheless, good chatbots could make interesting videogame characters.
