We all know that the beta period is going to expired, but the way the does really angry me, cos i dont really know if hurt my STEAM account (rep or something else) in any way.

They screwed up, and I guess used a Steam feature not intended for this sort of thing to take the game from us. Pretty crappy on their part, because they basically had to lie to get the games removed.

Makes me idly wonder whether defense grid 2 beta keys will end up the same way

Highly unlikely considering Devs' history with Volvo but after this case I'm not ruling it out

Way to ruin your game, they should expect bad word everywhere about this game and this problem.

I just hope that we don't have red flag attached to our steam account that will maybe have some effect on our accounts, they abused steam and flaged us for fraud

They responded and closed the topic, but honestly i prefer to wait for the confermation of the people who contacted the steam support.

We would like to calm all the people, who are afraid of the steam message they received.

All the beta keys have been removed, like we informed at the very beginning of the beta. People who have advanced to the final stage, will get new keys. A message from the steam is something we can't change, but don't worry, it doesn't influence your steam account. Everything is being done with cooperation with Steam (they are deactivating the keys), and they are aware of what's going on, so you accounts won't be flagged or anything like that. It's just a default message, that appears, when the key is removed for any reason.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, that it may have caused to all of you.

If you can't even get this one simple job done right, then this game is already a failure...

Honestly it was a dumb way to do it. I'v been in other betas before and they were simply removed with no fuss. It was very annoying getting tabbed out of the damn game i was playing and to see a system warning like that. Especially since i had just bought something a few hours before getting said warning.
