It's worth it if you grab it on an Origin sale for 4.99. The edition which they sell on the steam store is the base game+ all skins so it's priced higher.
Besides the single player campaign you can play conquest (capture control points like in the old BF2) with bots. The AI is good and you have access to all the maps, vehicles, guns and heroes just like in multiplayer. The AI is also using heroes so you can get some pretty cool duels without ever playing multi.
There's also a co-op mode- 4 people +AI against AI.

Origin access is the cheapest way to play all those singleplayer campaigns of the Battlefield/Battlefront games.
I was young and did it for the graphics! :)

When I played it during that Origin free month, I did like the story campaign quite a bit. Certainly wasnt a 60-hour epic but it was definitely fun to play it. I'm more of a story-mode player instead of a multiplayer usually since I tend to get my ass handed to me a lot. To me for $20 or less, it would be a good for a playthrough for it and the MP is just a bonus for afterwards.

No, the story is nonsense and the enemy ai is awful. Guns don't feel great either

I have it on Origin, bought it on Sale, not so long ago. Sadly haven't played yet. But I plan to... I hope it has Single player Campaign or PVE. It just that I have been playing a lot on my phone lately. :/
If you want to know the game is:
*Dragon Ball Legends

I try not to dismiss a rough launch. Even if it's as disastrous as BF2. If it's good now, then it's good now. Odds are I'll get it at some points. The question's just whether I'll get it for free some day, or I'll give in when it's like 3-5€.

That's good to know. I don't plan on playing it anytime soon - nothing against the title, it's just I have a ton of backlog already, but for those that did get it or those that plan to eventually, that's great.

I've been playing a ton of Battlefront 2 multiplayer recently, and the game has undergone a miraculous comeback. It's almost unrecognizable from the launch version how bad that was. I love using the First Order Sith trooper class definitely my favorite.
So if you wrote this game off because of the microtransaction mess at launch, you need to come back and check it out, such a fantastic game now, if you are into shooters. The game is also content complete now, so you will get the full experience.
And it's only $20 on Steam.
Just an fyi :)
