I spent a lot trying to get a specific Steins;Gate background, I'm just going to buy it myself I think. I love people who put effort into their profile as someone who does so themself.

I don't know how much I've spent on profile designs, way I see it, its my money to spend however I want. Same to you, if you want to buy backgrounds and badges, that's no different than anyone else who spends their money on anything they do. So long as it makes you happy! :) money is there to be spent.
