I like that side note to RE6. For me that game is indeed very crappy. x)
I like 0,1,2,3,4,7 and even 5 wich many people, especially many ones who like the old generation of re games seem to dislike but I absolutely couldn't stand 6.

Didn't feel like escort parts for me at all. I saw many people complaining about Sheva's AI. For me I never really had problems with her except for maybe some small exceptions. But nothing wich made the game less enjoyable for me.
The most fun way to play RE5 is in Multiplayer though where that potential problem completely disolves.

RE5 is still the best coop experience I've ever had (granted, I didn't have many). RE6 sucks ass. It sucks MAJOR ass.

for me 5 was the worst I kinda like 6 because of Leon s kennedy but other then that after RE4 they F the game up . RE7 is the best after RE3 . I am waiting to see the last one that coming out soon .

I have never hidden any games, but I wouldn't mind seeing all these hentai games getting banned. xD There are a lot of bad giveaways, but there are a lot of good giveaways too. Give it a chance!

the Recommended filter is whack. This is what it shows me; the first game I already own, the second game I would love to be exposed as the money-milking giant scam it is. So I have no idea what it bases the recommendations on, but there is some serious issue with them.

I always had the impression that the recommanded tab takes the community wishlist into account. As it usually shows what is hyped at the moment. Because normally the recommanded tab does not show games I'm actually interested in unless I entered multiple giveaways of a game in the past.

I always assumed it was "recommended" for the general or average Steam user, ie. what's most popular, not recommended for you/me personally. It would be nice to know, tho, what algorithm they're actually using.

If I recall correctly, it's a combination of top community wishlist, new releases with high review scores, and games you've entered a lot of giveaways for previously.

The first and third for sure, and It throws in your wishlist, as well. I haven't seen any highly reviewed under-the-radar indie games in there, but if the filter includes the second element you mentioned, it may be configured in a way that it essentially overlaps with community wishlist (as quantity of reviews+quality of reviews presumably would to some degree match to steam wishlisting habits).

Increasing your level also increases the possibility of seeing better giveaways. Also those "hentai" games you are speaking of, are Visual Novels that might be trash for you but some are actually good. (I said some not all of them, don't start naming the sakura ones)

That's a different issue though, you're complaining about most of the giveaways being shit. That's because people give away all their shitty bundle games for that sweet CV (tbf I'm kinda guilty of the same but I only buy humble bundle so they're usually at least decent games)
