No in a form you would be looking for. There are sure to be sites where people would trade such stuff though, but I wouldn't know where to look for them.

Well Sony does it too and some PC games. So I'm not that harsh against it.

Steam is free. That's my standard. Sony did it because Microsoft got away with it. So again, thanks Microsoft.

At least these day's you get free games for gold and PS+. But it would be great playing free on console.

I built one hell of a PS3 library off of being a PS Plus member... wish they had not dropped down to just two per month. At $50 per year it is still worth it in my opinion... just getting Rocket League was worth that for me last year if gauged by playing time. Even better, if you only pick up your annual subscriptions during sales I usually get PS+ for $25 to $40 and XBox Live Gold for $30 to $40... I think what I get with them pays off pretty quickly.

I was a PS+ subscriber, but as soon as Sony made it mandatory to play online, I was done. I'm not supporting that BS.

Steam is free because they generate enough money to cover cost of the few games they hose with dedicated servers, but at the same time they all allow you to host your own server, though i am unsure if Dota does.
But thanks to wanting to save cash and the likes Publishers have turned to piracy as one reason to cut out dedicated servers, and well COD Ghost showed how terrible P2P only is for PVP.
There is a reason that Sony did it,they had no choice it cost money to run and host those servers that act like Steam,as it lets you download games, patches, dlc, save to the cloud and so on.It not just basic servers for just online gaming anymore.
Microsoft on the other hand could maybe weather the storm a bit more due to no cash flow issues, but i was glad i paid for better servers when i had my 360,then the terrible issues i had with the PS3 and online gaming and being disconnected.Never had such issues with Live
GTA V is another good example of why P2P is crap and had no excuse to not use dedicated servers, lag and frequent disconnects because of poor connections or internet,it really sucks on heist where just one person drops out game over.
In the end i think from here on most games would have shit p2p,which would be fine if everyone had same access to internet and all of it was good.

"Steam is free because they generate enough money to cover cost..."
So because Microsoft and Sony are bad at business, I should cover their server costs? No thank you.
And dedicated servers will not fix bad internet connections.
Comment has been collapsed.
No,but does Microsoft or Sony have Dota or CS-GO or TF2 trinkets to profit off of?and most games on Steam use p2p..and hence why it cost nothing.
Again i did point out though that Microsoft could weather the storm if they so chose to do so,but again your in the business to make money not lose it,and giving stuff away for free that cost lots of money to run well is throwing money away.
Also i would not be surprised if Xbox One is not bleeding them money even while charging for Live.
They do more now then just host online games, now they stream movies, videos, you use it to download games, dlc, patches, and so on.
Do you think Steam would be free if it was not for the market and game sales? They surely could not run Steam for free without generating income. Also how many games do they have that take dedicated servers? How many games run on PS+ and Live how many games do they support for online?
Never said it would fix bad internet but P2P will have bad connections no matter how good your internet is,one lost packet loses connection with someone,I meant bad like to slow to host P2P or to high of ping while hosting.
You know how many times i played GTA V with someone have them vanish then appear in front of me and i hit them,or have NPC do that because of P2P and someone bad ping.Where P2P if one person has a really high ping they will vanish and magically appear again because the delay in the ping. This was when i had access to better net,now that i am back home sadly i back to shitty ass ping.
Hell i can play BF3 online and kill people just fine with no lag and so on,and my ping not even good enough to join a CS-GO server.

The vast majority of games on PS3/4 and X360/1 use peer-to-peer for matchmaking. Your subs are not paying for dedicated servers. Don't let Microsoft and Sony fool you. Microsoft did make it easier to use their cloud service so I'll give them props for that.

I know some games use p2p and hence why they are not always the best to play online....but still you have to have servers and bandwidth for downloads and and that other stuff..and each year more and more consoles users shift to digital so the usage is only going to get higher.
Also why i said this ..
How many games run on PS+ and Live how many games do they support for online?
As internet keeps improving so will P2P but i still feel at this point it not ready to be fully used for PVP and hosting of some games until most have really good internet as P2P hosting relies on everyone internet not just one host.GTA V is a good example of that,i have played it on the PC and on the PS4 and both suffer the same issues with connections due to P2P.
Also i would like to add that when i had my 360 and live i rarely ever had issues staying connected to live on the other hand just about every day i lose connection to Steam at random times of the day and so forth. So if paying a small yearly fee gives me a better connection to a service along with access to things like Live Arcade, digital game downloads, and so on forth i would say it is well worth it.
Point is to many expect everything to be free just because they say so,yet a lot of these same people keep throwing money at Valve and keep there lips glued to Gabens ass and and at times pay stupid money for skins and so on and that is okay, but be damn if Sony or Microsoft charges a fee to access online. Then they up in arms about Sony/Microsoft charging for online access. In the end Valve is just as guilty of sucking money from users.
But i am willing to pay for a service if i think it is worth it and i thought it was when i had my 360 i had no issues paying for it.In fact now you pay more to get a fast food meal once a month then paying to live or ps+.
One last thing, nobody is being forced to pay to play online but if you want the right to do so you will have to pay.It is a privilege not a right to have access and to play these games online. But in the ned people are free and clear to voice there hate for the same as i am to voice what i feel about it.

Shitty indeed, but they are hardly the only company to do so. Most of them do MMOs.
Comment has been collapsed.
I bet you could count the number of MMOs with active subscriptions on one hand. They are a dying breed.
Comment has been collapsed.
Of course they're dying, because of this micro transaction bullcrap.
Comment has been collapsed.
Microtransactions were because of lost subscriptions. Not the other way around.
Comment has been collapsed.
It has nothing to with that, the fact is it cost money to run the games and host servers if they have them and so on.Micro-transactions have just taken over because it can generate more income, while still keeping a decent install base.As those who pay help cover the cost of those who do not.
The biggest reason for the change im MMO or MOBA or whatever is the way we play them is shifting and more and more is being done on mobile. Also there a lot more choices so it is a lot harder to stay loyal to just one game,at one time WOW was pretty much the only decent one to play so that is why so many played then and paid a subscription.
It is hard to justify paying a monthly fee to play a game when something like Dota 2 can be played for nothing.Even Elder Scrolls could not keep the paid thing going,i doubt it would have even it it was 10 times more popular then it is now.Free is hard to compete with no matter if it has micro-transactions or not.

They however were around, and still exist even today. Don't just blame MS.

I was a PS+ subscriber for years on PS3 so I know the value of it, but I'm not paying for online. And you can thank Sony for Games with Gold :).

"Why I'm askin this is because I need a 10$ xbox code and would give a 1 month gold code for it."
Just the question itself was enough, you don't have to include the trade specifics. No trading here.

On some forums people are really weird if you don't explain the full reason, for some reasons.

Is this meant sarcastic? I'm not good in realiesing it.
