I've never heard of this happening before. This is a problem with your steam client?
Huh. I dunno, man. Reinstall it? Go into the advanced settings and do the bullshit where you make it run like it's on an earlier operating system?
I wish you the best of luck.

Steam just updated itself, but since nobody else is crying about it, guess something went wrong on my side. Might as well try re-installing steam then...

Re-install Steam. Try disabling sound cues/notifications in the Steam options. Run a checkdisk (chkdsk /f or /r). Do a system file check (SFC). Try re-installing audio drivers (the sound is the only thing I can imagine causing the problem if not a corrupt steam install. Broken HDD or RAM is unlikely, but a problem with Windows (assuming Windows) is a small possiblity).
Can't say more without more info regarding OS, HW and SW. Dxdiag is probably overkill but it would give us what's needed. It's probably something small. Maybe Windows Update screwed with something.

It probably would help if you mentioned what operating system (including what version / update) you are running.
If no one else is experiencing this as well, I would suggest thinking about if anything else has recently changed on your computer. Any new updates recently installed for your operating system? Any other programs having issues that might suggest the problem is in your hardware?

There was a buggy file I had to delete in order for everything else to work properly. To sum everything up - problem's fixed.

The client crash the half of the times when I try to upload a screenshot.
The client takes 5-10 minutes everyday to start, even if there's no updates to download.
Atleast the half of my games gives me the "Error 51", so I can't play 'em offline.
And the worst of all. People with who I chat, don't receive any kind of notification when I send a message, and usually I receive an answer the following month...
And support's solution it's always the same "reinstall Steam" or "update your drivers"...

Poor you. I'm glad my problems aren't as sh*tty as yours :(

try to clear the download cache https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3134-TIAL-4638
if that fails, MOVE everything in the steam folder to another place (just put them in a back up folder), except steam.exe, /userdata and /steamapps (this is the default game install folder).
run steam and let it install everything again and see if that helps.

Have to deal with constant crashes. As soon as I get a message from a friend of mine - it instantly crashes. So much fun! If I start a game and I get a message - it closes itself too! Feeling great :D
Any solutions, fellas?
p.s: Problem solved, thank you for your assistance. Had to delete on of the files downloaded with OS update for everything to work.
p.s2: Clickbait title, lol
