I have created and finished 11 giveaways, 10 games are received already. And I still have only 30$ in my "value". Should I just wait?

CV is capped if you only giveaway bundle games, because most people didn't spend even $30 on them. Buy some games that haven't been bundled, give those away, value goes up.

Because all the games you have given away were in bundles. The FAQ explains all this.

Hello,

Games which have been in bundles or otherwise made widely available at little or no cost are added to the bundle list. Games in this list will not add more than 20% (1/5) of your non-bundle contributions, disregarding the first $25. For more detailed information, see this thread.

In order to receive any additional value from your current bundle gifts, partial or otherwise, you will need to contribute more in non-bundle games.

if you GA games that have been previously bundled (they have an * as a mark on the title when you make the GA) you will not and cannot pass the 30.00 mark.

If you mix bundled and non bundled, your cv will raise, but the bundle game will add only like 20% of its full value to your cv count. But you do have to give non bundled, or games that are like 95% discount.

It takes several hours for it to be updated. Be patient :-)

I find it funny that after this, you suddenly had several nice giveaways for a small group, and one friend who won both Max Payne 3 and Day Z doesn't have it to show. Another person does have Stronghold 3 Gold, but that is the only one on sale. Did you decide to do 'giveaways' to build up your value, and open you up to the banhammer and blacklists?

Just looked at the group page, look at what it says for the last two giveaways.

Is this a ban-able offense or just a suspension. My opinion would be to ban the hell out of him, we really don't want (more) people like that in this community.

He did 5 mislabled giveaways, so while I doubt he will get a outright ban, the suspension might last a while.

Pfft, I didn't even notice the group page that showed he was doing other games instead, I just thought they were outright fakes.

I think it's only the inept who get caught... :)

The professional cv fakers (and they do exist) make giveaways for things their friends just bought/traded for/whatever, so from the outside everything looks legit... :(
