Inspired by ziltoyd84’s football/soccer puzzle, I decided to create my first puzzle. Here you’ll find 10 NBA players (well dressed for the occasion) with their faces hided so you…
– Say what? Am I supposed to solve this when I don’t know shit about basketball and I can’t even see their faces?
– Yep, and I hope it won’t be that hard, but not too easy either. I tried to make this fun for everyone, using a very popular thing among the best players in the NBA: nicknames. So The Answer will always be the player’s name (en. wiki copy-paste) but to find that I’m giving you hints about their nicknames. Find his nickname and you’ll have his name. As simple as that. Or not…

Rules/exceptions:

  • Q11 is a bonus and includes the answer. Just copy-paste it.
  • Some are wearing a mask just to hide their face, but others are wearing it as a hint. Same goes for backgrounds and other items: may be a key or just a “f*ck google image search” measure. Take a good look at the pictures.
  • For Q4 I’m not giving any hint, as I already told you his nickname.
  • 2 pictures are based on facts of the player’s career, so forget about their nickname.
  • And finally, one of this 2 from above is trying to trick you, disguised as something he even attacked once.

Hints will be posted if necessary. Sorry in advance if something isn`t working properly. Is my first puzzle, as I said :)

What awaits you on the other side: 3 bundled game + 1 unbundled (All Lv1+). You have until next Sunday (Nov. 1st) to solve it.

Finally solved it!
Took a while trying to figure out how to spell Q9...then I just google it.

noooo Fck! i just searched the phrase! rip for him :( and i learnt that he was the inventor of "tiki-taka" which i hate!

btw, thx for avatar case. but halloween's evil spritis told me, u made a big mistake by not including him :p

I don't like the "tiki-taka" thing either. In fact, I didn't like him being a football narrator at all, but this is Spain and there's where the money is. He introduced me into basketball, a sport I "hated" when I was a child, and now I love it, so this puzzle exists thanks to him ; ). He was an spectacular NBA narrator.

His airness didn't fit the puzzle as his nicknames are hard to represent. Be thankful that I didn't include LeBron :P

first thing to say; i loved the puzzle. made me remember the old good times. 90's NBA was the best for me. Hakeem, Penny, The Admiral, Postman all others... so little amount of ppl remained; Kobe, Duncan, Garnett, Ray Allen (still free agent?)... after their retirement, the most amazing chapter of Nba will be closed for me... lebron? who is lebron :ppp

Solutions:

  • Q1 - Dwyane Wade as "Flash".

  • Q2 - Chris Andersen as "Birdman".

  • Q3 - Kevin Durant as "Durantula".

  • Q4 - Allen Iverson as "The Answer".

  • Q5 - Kevin Garnett as "The Big Ticket".

  • Q6 - Jerry West as "The Logo". He is the guy who appears as the NBA logo.

  • Q7 - Magic Johnson as ... Magic Johnson.

  • Q8 - Gilbert Arenas as "Agent Zero". He is the one with his number still on the jersey. He chose that number because his coach said him that he would play those minutes in his freshman year (in college). A few years later, 3 times All-Star.

  • Q9 - Sorry for this one, guys. It's hard if you don't know what I'm talking about, but you can always brutforce a white star player, as there are only a few. He is the liar, "disguised as something he even attacked once". Manu Ginóbili as the guy who attacked a bat in a game.

  • Q10 - Bill Russell as the player with most championship rings won (11 in 13 years. Just wow).
