Why is there a poll?
Yeah, probably too ambitious of me. I went ahead and put the hint up on the puzzle.

Noooooo! It can't be that drunken. What part you fail?

I thought the clues pretty much give it away to a master puzzler such as yourself. I'll see if I can come up with some more hints later if I don't get some more solvers soon.

Thanks for the kind words. Don't worry, I can solve some puzzles, I can't solve others, it's normal.
I think I understand the hints, and even my guess for q2 fits the hint, but I can't think of another way to use it. And q3... well, I just don't know how to play nice xd

Yes, I'd have to agree. I don't know what I was thinking. You'd need way more text to attempt it without something else to go on.

The first hint for Q2 is key. The second hint is a reminder that there is no trick and that those are equations.
Look at the words in the first hint carefully.

Yes, I thought I got the hint too. Starting to wonder if an error was made too.

Too Hard (The Q2)!
I think another hint is a good idea :P

I cry... Q2 is very hard for me... Q3 with the hint is simple...

I'm thinking like x,5 + x,5 = odd number, but i don't know if is a mate question or a trick question....

No tricks (at least I wouldn't label it as such); it is indeed a math question. Just slightly unconventional.

i have a good idea of what you have done there, but i can't find the answer.
Maybe, if i get the first and second equotation right (which i might have now ^^), then i don't know how to use that on the third. It's then a piece of the pattern, which i don't see :-(

Bump for solving Q1 and Q3 (impossible without hints, this one)
Now Q2...

So this is my first try at a puzzle. . I hope I didn't make this puzzle either too hard or too easy. There is a prize. A game type prize. No tricks.
Get cracking
So it seems I messed up the hint delay...
everyone gets free hints after the first hour :PI change it so no hints in puzzle. I will give the hints here after 24 hours.Hints:
Q2: If you are stuck, make sure you cover all your bases in order to leave no stone unturned.
Q3: The answer is ‘simple’ if you know how to play nice.
new hints:
Q2: Hint 2: Given the previous two equations, what should be the expected value for the right side of the third equation
Q3: Hint 2: Sir Charles Wheatstone
ANSWERS
1: Spaniard
2: 102
the first equation is in base 8: 6 (base 8) + 6 (base 8) = 14 (base 8)
the second equation is in base 7: 14 (base 7) + 14 (base 7) = 31 (base 7)
the third equation is in base 6: 31 (base 6) + 31 (base 6) = 102 (base 6)
3: not all men are created equal
the text is encoded using a Playfair square cipher with a keyword of 'SIMPLE'
