I usually have food with salt, tastes best that way. You should try unsalted fried potatoes for example and then tell me why salt is considered any kind of bad thing.

Exactly! It's something to make up for dry, flavorless, overcooked steak.
I've since become a purist, and believe that a good steak just needs a good cut (strip is my favorite), salt and pepper, and good preparation (I prefer sous vide followed by a quick sear in butter). Though some fried shallots on top are always nice.

Don't think it's about age, at some point any collecting seems to change from a fun hobby to a boring grind and become pointless. So you'll feel more like just giving them away rather than hoarding. I guess for me it was 5k and lvl 500, so collecting lvl 10 here became more fun.
