Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 or 3?

i only played the classic

Both are good, it depends if You like 3D more than isometric look :P

RCT2, it's older and better. You can also download "Open RCT2" and get nice multiplayer.

I've played all of them. I personally liked the 3rd one the best (all were fine), just for the added features of the water park as well as being able to actually "ride" the rides (first person camera). If you already own both though, just install them and play about 30 minutes of each to see which you'd prefer. People have different preferences.

Depends what you want in a sim game. More management 2, more "fun" 3. Personally I like both, and find them to be great fun and solid choices.

Why not buy the full pack, or just get the $1 tier for Humble Bundle and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 seperately?

I prefer the third one, I feel like it's more open to let me do the rollercoaster I want (and you can ride them in first person POV after :3)

RCT2 is better. definitely.

Dunno, I liked RCT3 more, especially when you have both expansions. It is more of a giant sandbox with totally unneded but cute things like fireworks editors. RCT1-2 are most likely better as management games, but RCT3 is good to just mess around. Plus it helps that the coasters can be created in actual fully 3D, even if they still need to use pre-made track segments. But riding it with a first-person camera, especially when you have a fully bustling park around can be astounding.

But if you go RCT2, I'd say the OpenRCT2 as well.

I love all 3 of them and looking forward to Planet Coaster next month (if my PC can play it)
I would say 3 generally. The first 2 play very nice on an old laptop.
