Go and watch Twin Peaks by David Lynch, it's realy worth watching. I recieved the first season at crhistmas and bought me the second season (vol.1 & vol.2) at New Year. It's just awesome.

What about Spartacus? Sure, it containts a lot of gore and nudity, but skip ahead of those parts and you've found a gem.

Friends (1994 – 2004) is one of my favourite TV shows!

I, Claudius. 76', BBC. Only 12 episodes. Theatrical setting. Completely different format from what we are used to watch nowadays. BUT it is IMHO a timeless classic. It is also not dry at all, but filled with subtle humor.

The cast also holds very nice surprises such as John Hurt (Caligula) and Patrick Stewart (Sejanus).

Gilmore girls, Parks and Recreation and Parenthood. All great shows I think are underrated. Parks and Rec is one of my all time favorites outside of the walking dead and GOT of course. :D

Better Off Ted is a funny show that I've never heard anyone mention. I noticed it randomly on Netflix a couple years ago and thought it was really funny. Its about a mostly moral department head in a Haliburton/Dow Chemicals-kind of corporation trying to keep the company from being too evil. The episodes are great little nuggets of gold.

Firefly is defenitly worth watching, even though there's just one season
