Don't really watch alot of tele but... Kamen Rider Gaim -- Ressha Sentai ToQger -- 〈GARO〉-魔戒ノ花-

The mentalist! I Don't know there, but in my country is not well known.

I love Orphan Black, but I'm not sure if it's in the spotlight or not. If you're going to watch it don't go looking for plot synopses or spoilers!

It's a sci-fi thriller/mystery involving conspiracy theories and the lead actress is AMAZING. Season 2 just ended so it will be a while before there are any new episodes.

I'm not from the US and don't follow TV hype bullshit so I wouldn't know whats in the spotlight but try:

• Orange is the new black (women in prison!)
• Black Sails (pirates!)
• Vikings (vikings!)
• Nurse Jackie (nurse taking drugs!)
• Silicon Valley (why I hate people and California! still funny with some obscure nerdy comedy)
• Love/Hate (drugs! crime! violence! IRELAND!!! (indeed I did just say that in an irish accent))
• Merlin (corny wizard in Arthurian Wales! (yes, its a fake era, it never existed))

I've seen and liked all of these except Vikings (havent seen) which a friend has seen and said they loved it which I will take is a good indicator as said particular friend has good taste.

And of course; the customary: Firefly (space!)

Supernatural < not old lol but my fav show.

I just started watching Dominion which is on Scyfy. It's only 3 epidoses in so far and it's pretty damn good. Basically God has disappeared and the angels feel it's the humans fault so they start a war with them. Michael sides with the humans to fight against all the bad angels who are led by Gabriel. Don't worry I didn't spoil anything either as what I just told you is the beginning of the first episode.

Under the Dome is great which was mentioned by others. Vikings is awesome and well worth it. Falling Skies I've been watching and have been enjoying. I'm in season 3 right now and season 4 just started.
