I did quit TF2 as well a long time ago just at the release of the meet the pyro update (I did quit on 30 jun 2012), I was raging all the time, didn't have fun anymore and after the update my shitty pc was unable to run it as well, so I quit. :p
I had 1893 hours on my main account, around 400 on my secondary and around 120 on my xbox 360, plus another 300 more when I used a superlegitcoughough swag edition.
Since I quit I've opened it only 1 more time to farm cards, never played again, next step: cure Internet addiction :D

Well, i played Rift 1.5 years.
Then i got bored and i quitted.
The next days were a little strange, no dungeons, no raid :)
(A little sad too, i met nice people in this game)
Anyway, for TF2, i don't play a lot, only from time to time, especially when i have some Secret Saxton to give away :)

I stopped playing dota 2 when I hit 1000 hours and started playing hearthstone, much better community when you can only use emotes :D

I've quit 2 of my major games (SoF2 and COD4 both with ~2000 hours) in the past, both because of cheater infestation. Haven't looked back and don't even miss them. Sure they gave me some good times but I still have friends from those scenes that currently play CS:GO with me.

It feels really strange to quit a game i've put over 1400 hours in. I am just sick of it, but it just feels so weird. TF2 was such a great friend to me over these past 3 years. So many laughs and joys, great times in-game and bad times in-game. It just feels odd to just, get rid of all of my tf2 items and just be like "yeah, i'm done with you tf2. Thank you for everything, but, i'm done here."
Anyone else have some kind of hard send-offs with games they were really fond off?
