Darksiders.

Manhunt. The second game was pretty bad but the first holds a special place in my heart.

5. Borderlands 2 (I really liked the story, especially towards the end game when Handsome Jack proves that he's an amazing villain)

I know that I'll get 0 people to agree with me on this, and I'm cool with that. But I would have to say the first Drawn to Life game for the DS. I guess because I gave a shit about what was going on. Like the reason why I was doing things actually meant something to me. NOT SAYING IT WAS A GOOD GAME BECAUSE I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT IN YEARS! But that storyline man...

Mass Effect series, Half-Life series, Mafia series, and To the Moon

Culpa Innata - I think nobody will mention it, but it got the best (Nietzschean) story I've ever seen in games

To the Moon, Brothers, Psychonauts - personal favorites;

Bioshock Infinite, Mafia, Max Payne (1 and 2) - mainstream;

Braid and Swapper - in some weird-esoteric way;

And of course Telltale Games are pretty solid when you are talking about storytelling.
