Try to find a GroupBuy, usually it's around $1 for the whole bundle when the HH kicks in.
3.49$ was only during the first day after release; after that the price always increases a bit.

HH are very random nowadays, as opposed to a couple of months ago, when the HH was rather predictable.
And they last for a few hours only, which makes it even harder to catch one.
