Need some help with Resident Evil 6 on Steam

Hi, i recently bought RE6 on steam and when i load it i get to the "hit any button" and it takes me to the display options. When i go back and hit any button again it takes me back to the display options. i cant actually start a new game. Does anyone know why it is doing this?

thanks. i never tried not changing any settings, so i pressed enter this time and it went to the next part, thanks alot :)
