My first PUZZLE. Say what?

  1. Zebra, Zaddick, Zloyd, Zebecs - Lower
  2. Begins with SE and ends with ? - Lower
  3. cangaroo, oops I have a grammar error - Upper
  4. Something evil people give to other people, begins with P. (If you don't get this one. O_O) - Lower
  5. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG - Upper

Just a question, what mean "lower" and "upper" after each sentence? Is that necessary to solve the puzzle?

Lower and Upper means that the letter from each one is in lower case or upper case.
